Learning RX Savage

When a company says that they change lives through brain training, it’s almost impossible to not want to know more, to know how.  Few things in life stir as much curiosity in us as the process of learning and there are fewer people more passionate about it than Rich Frieder, the Executive Director of LearningRX in Savage.

LearningRX is a family of caring professionals stocked with the proper training and tools to actually make a difference for parents and students. LearningRx is the apparent solution to the urgent need of thousands of parents of struggling students—parents who fear that their children are on the verge of being defined by discouragement, failure, and a lifetime of lost opportunity. No other solution—no matter the cost—has the power to so dramatically change all the ways a student lives and learns. The reason? We address the cause of the problem and not just the symptoms.

According to Frieder, “the biggest challenge is letting people know what we do and how we do it.”  It’s a process of building confidence”, he says.  “We strengthen a student’s attention, memory and processing speed.”

The results speak for themselves.  There are six LearningRX centers in the metro and Frieder owns three of them.  They are located in Savage, Egan and Woodbury.  This is clearly an educational field but he brings to it a very strong business background.  A career transition six years ago after spending twenty years in the corporate world led him to LearningRX.  His career change also had a personal motivation.  His daughter was diagnosed at age five with ADHD and also identified with some language processing issues.  Her involvement with LearningRX has led them today to a happy twelve year old who is fully functional AND with no need for medication.  It was a success story with personal affirmation written all over it.

LearningRX offers each student one on one training for five to six hours per week for a period between three and eight months.  They focus on changing a student's underlying ability to learn and read. They train and strengthen cognitive skills with scientifically based and clinically proven one-on-one personalized training. You and your child are no longer limited to treating symptoms.
